Speckled

I found a little surprise from the blackbird that lives in my garden.. A nest with four eggs! I took this picture two days after I found the nest, on top of my compost heap. I didn't want to go too near, but I saw at least one of the eggs had already hatched. Too bad I didn't get the tiny pink bird on the picture, but I didn't want to disturb too much.
